  1. What were the rights that Paul had and decided to lay down? How does this connect to Paul’s advice to eating meat sacrificed to idols in chapter 8? What rights do you have as a Christian that you might need to consider laying down in order to advance the gospel?
  2. Paul had an inner drive and longing to reach others with the Gospel. What ways does that come out in this passage (v15-20)? How might you ask the Lord to change you to give you this same longing?
  3. How does the image of a runner competing in a race relate to the Christian life? Does your walk with God reflect this intense pursuit?
  4. Who is someone you are seeking to win for Christ? What are you doing this week to get to know them better and help them know Christ?
