It is normal for us to face struggles in this life. We get the sense that something isn't right, like a light on the dashboard. Our goal is not to get rid of the feeling. We want to investigate the reason for it and fix the problem.
Psalm 42 gives us a clear picture of what it feels like to struggle, but also instructions on what to do about it through the account of what the psalmist felt, knew, and did.
