The Foundations of Faith Bible study walks through foundational passages of the Bible to provide a first hand knowledge of the Scriptures and the beliefs and practices that come from the passages. The intent is to help those who are new to Christianity or taking their first steps at going deeper in understanding the faith. The passages are arranged based on six core identities of a Christian as a: Worshipper, Follower, Steward, Family Member, Helper and Witness.

Foundations encourage people to explore the Bible in simple, honest, and engaging manner. You don’t need prior knowledge or firm beliefs to participate—just a willingness to explore, ask honest questions, and consider what you encounter. The Foundations Guide provides the Scriptures to read and also a guide to the passage, questions to ask about the passage and also questions for how the passage connects to your life.

These lessons are not just for beginnerss—they focus on lifelong rhythms so even the most mature followers of Jesus don’t move beyond them; they return to them again and again, going deeper over time.

We have a Foundations Class that meets regularly on Wednesdays and  we also love to connect people to mentors to walk through the material on a more personal basis. Some even choose to start on their own so our Foundations material is provided at the bottom of this page. We would love to hear you are starting and would be glad to walk with you in your journey. Let us know if or when you would like to talk more about it.
